LOWKI OS is provided by SecurityMindset B.V., The Netherlands ("we", "us"). These terms cover the LOWKI OS Windows application, this website and the paid plans. By creating an account, buying a plan or installing the app you agree to them together with our Privacy Policy and Refunds & Cancellation page.

LOWKI OS is a Windows desktop application that runs on your PC. It uses AI services that you connect with your own API keys (Google Gemini is required; Anthropic Claude and OpenAI on the plans that include them). We do not run those AI models, and your use of them is subject to each provider's own terms and charges.

You must give a working email address and keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has got into it.

You must be at least 16 to create an account or buy a plan. If your country sets a higher age for consenting to data processing, a parent or guardian must accept these terms for you.

Standard is a one-time purchase that gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Standard's features. Pro, Developer and Agents are monthly subscriptions. Each plan includes everything in the plan below it.

Each plan allows a set number of linked PCs (shown in the FAQ and on your Account page). You can remove a linked PC at any time. The plan you have is checked from your account, so you need to be signed in and linked for plan features to work.

The software is licensed to you, not sold. You may not copy it except for backup, resell or share your account, or remove licence checks.

Paid features are switched on by a short-lived, digitally signed licence that our server issues to your linked PC. It is tied to your account and to that installation, and the app has to reconnect to our server now and then to renew it. How long it works offline is set by us. If your PC is offline for longer, the app asks you to reconnect; nothing is deleted.

You may not share, sell or publish installers, licences, account credentials or access tokens; copy the installation to a PC that is not linked to your account; modify, patch, decompile (except to the extent the law gives you a right to, for example to achieve interoperability) or tamper with the application, its files or its licence checks; or use the application to bypass payment. If we detect this, or if a payment is reversed by chargeback or fraud, we may revoke the licence and unlink the PC or account.

We may stop supporting an old version of the app, for example when it has a serious security problem. The app then asks you to update; updating is free and keeps your settings and data.

Reinstalling or replacing your hardware never locks you out: remove the old PC on your Account page (this frees the slot straight away) and link the new one.

Subscriptions renew every month (or every year, if you chose an annual plan) on the same date until you cancel, and we charge the payment method you gave. Prices are shown in euros and include VAT; the VAT part depends on your country and is shown on your receipt and invoice. All payments are made to SecurityMindset B.V., the company that sells LOWKI OS, and are processed for it by Stripe. On your card or bank statement the charge appears as LOWKI OS.

If we change a subscription price, we tell you by email at least 30 days before it affects you, and you can cancel before then. Upgrades, downgrades, cancellation and refunds follow the Refunds & Cancellation page, which forms part of these terms.

You get access as soon as you pay. Before paying, you are asked to confirm that you want this and that, where the law allows it, your 14-day right of withdrawal ends once the software has been made available to you. Your rights that cannot be waived are not affected. The Refunds & Cancellation page explains how this works for one-time and subscription purchases.

LOWKI OS is an AI system. You are always dealing with software, not a person, and what it writes or says is generated by AI models.

To do what you ask, LOWKI OS interacts with your PC in real time by capturing your screen ("seeing") and your microphone ("hearing"). The wake-word check and speech recognition run on your PC. When a request needs it, what LOWKI OS sees or hears is sent with your own API key to the AI provider you chose. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what leaves your PC.

If you use LOWKI OS to write or send messages, emails, posts or any other communication to other people, you are solely responsible for telling those people, wherever the law or good practice requires it, that the communication was produced or sent with the help of AI. Those messages are yours: LOWKI OS sends them on your behalf. You are also solely responsible for having the right to capture, and for informing, anyone whose voice, image or information appears on your screen or is picked up by your microphone.

LOWKI OS can click, type, open apps, manage files and send messages for you. It checks with you before risky actions, according to the permission settings you choose. You are responsible for reviewing what it is about to do and for how you set its permissions.

Take care with the actions you set to Allow. Anything LOWKI OS does with those permissions is treated as done by you.

AI can be wrong. What LOWKI OS tells you, including answers from the financial, marketing and software agents, is information and not financial, legal, medical or other professional advice. Check anything important before you act on it.

Don't use LOWKI OS to break the law, to harass or impersonate anyone, to get into systems or accounts you have no permission to use, or to attack or overload our services. Don't try to bypass plan limits or licence checks. We may suspend or close an account that does, and the ending rules below then apply.

LOWKI OS is early-access software. We work hard to keep it reliable, but it may contain errors, features may change, and the website or account service may occasionally be unavailable.

We are responsible for loss or damage that we cause by breaking the law or these terms, if it was foreseeable. We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, for lost profits or data on your PC caused by actions you approved, for the AI providers' services, or for events outside our control.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOWKI OS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA, ACCIDENTAL OR MISTAKEN DELETION OR CHANGING OF FILES, DAMAGED OR CORRUPTED CODE REPOSITORIES, OR FINANCIAL OR SYSTEM DAMAGE CAUSED BY WRONG OR INVENTED ("HALLUCINATED") AI OUTPUT, BY ERRORS WHEN AN ACTION IS CARRIED OUT, OR BY ACTIONS LOWKI OS TAKES AUTOMATICALLY.

KEEP BACKUPS, AND USE VERSION CONTROL, FOR ANYTHING YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE, AND SET THE PERMISSIONS OF RISKY ACTIONS TO ASK.

This does not limit liability that the law does not allow to be limited: liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law. An exclusion of all liability would not be valid for consumers in the EU, and a clause that a court would set aside helps nobody, so we state the limit plainly and no wider than the law allows.

You can stop using LOWKI OS and cancel any subscription at any time. We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or if the law requires it, and will tell you why unless the law prevents that. Ending an account does not affect rights that arose earlier.

We may update these terms as the product and billing grow. We update the date at the top and tell signed-in customers by email about significant changes at least 30 days ahead. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change starts.

These terms are governed by the law of the country where we are based. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live and can go to the courts there. Please contact us first so we can try to fix the problem.
